Before You Buy

How to determine if a SNAPPER® is suitable for a boat / trailer combination:

  1. The winch stand roller and the boat's bow eye must be within several inches of vertical height of each other. This relationship may be accomplished with a winch stand that has vertical and horizontal adjustability.
  2. The winch stand must be adjustable for both horizontal and vertical positioning.
  3. There must be at least 8" clearance behind the boat roller to the winch.
  4. The weight of the boat bow on the trailer must be supported by a lead roller, v-cradle or bunk.
